Please find me this. Lord of mercy…
I realized I have had this blog for 2 years. That’s a great milestone.
Do I feel older? Older is a subtle thing. I’d characterize it as a longing for slowness and good vibes. For meaning. For comfort. That’s aging, more so than a lack of desire for new experiences. I want those experiences, probably even more.
Ya the desire for peace and freeness, that’s probably me getting in contact with myself. Way moreso than 2 years ago, thankfully. It kinda reminds me of the way I used to feel in high school. My emotions so responsive and more fully realized…
My dreams are much more vivid. Almost violent these days. I have dreams of train tracks and bombings, spiders, and war scenes.
When I was younger, in these dreams, I was always a fighter on the good side. And now I’m still on the good side, but simply a survivor. Perhaps that too is part of aging.

To be human is to feel at times divided, fractured, pulled in a dozen directions … and to yearn for serenity, for some healing of our ‘torn-to-pieces-hood.’

Am I wasting the moments of my life.
Sometimes it takes good design to remind me how good my life is.
I don’t know why it does that, but it does…
